Types of Funds

The North Thompson Communities Foundation offers many different funds for you to donate to. You can support an area of interest without having to select a particular charity.

 

Leave an impact in the North Thompson Valley by:

 

1. Making a one time or on-going donation to the Foundation towards community needs through our Community Impact Fund or one of our Focus Areas.
    

2. Making a donation in support of community needs that are important to you through our Donor Advised Funds which includes a Memorial Fund or Bursary Award. We will honour your wishes.
    

3. Creating a Legacy Fund. You may want your fund to benefit a particular charitable organization(s) that holds special meaning to you or support the community or region in general. You can also decide how involved you want to be with your fund.

 

Plan now for giving later. Planned Giving ensures that those causes that matter most to you are realized in your estate planning. It may be as simple as naming the Community Foundation in your will; or you may wish to establish a fund today, with an option to add to it over your lifetime. We will ensure that your wishes are honoured.
