‘25 years of heart’: Fundraiser created for North Thompson endowment fund

The North Thompson Communities Foundation (NTCF) is marking its 25th anniversary by launching a campaign to raise $250,000 for a long-term endowment fund for the valley. For a quarter of a century, we have “acted as the quiet engine driving local progress.” As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, we aren’t just blowing out candles, but are “fuelling up for the next several decades” with the launch of the fundraising campaign.

Carman and Barb Smith, long-time North Thompson residents and “dedicated community supporters,” have provided a “cornerstone gift” to the campaign. The foundation is proud to announce that the Smiths are the inaugural members of the newly-established ‘founders circle,’ as they have made a “leadership donation” of $10,000, providing the campaign with “critical momentum.”
