Government of Canada announces the results of the Community Services Recovery Fund

The Government of Canada has officially announced the results of the Community Services Recovery Fund. The North Thompson Communities Foundation was pleased to participate and facilitate in the awarding of two grants. Receiving funding were Simpcw First Nations and Evergreen Acres Senior Housing Society.

Simpcw First Nations will be upgrading their current accounting system, which will include new software and its implementation.

Evergreen Acres will use their funding to renovate their Old Hall and add amenities to their New Hall.

At the recent Foundation’s 20th Anniversary event Louise Lodge awarded a “cheque” to Linda Selbee for the Evergreen Acres project.
